Re-roofing works completed for McLean Museum & Art Gallery in Greenock, Renfrewshire. Strip existing slate and lay new slate. All associated lead works carried out alongside the slate work.





Main Contractor: WH Kirkwood Ltd

Works: Strip existing slate and fit Siga 120 Random slate with 2 panels being re-slated with Reclaimed Scotch (Easdale Slate) which were salvaged from 1 rear high level roof. Mid roof over the Main Hall was slated with New Welsh Cwt-y-Bugail 500x200 with extra headlap due to the roof pitch level.
